Power 90, P90x?

Anyone done any of these?

I started the power 90 series on Monday with the hopes of progressing to power 90 master series then p90x by this time next year :) Anyway, so far I'm enoying it although I do find it quite difficult which goes to show how unfit I am!

For those of you who are unsure of what it is, it's basically a workout program that lasts 90 days. You work out 6 days a week and have a rest day. It's quite hardcore as its a bootcamp but the results you can see on youtube are amazing.

Well I take my hat off to you! I have read about these, never done it myself I don't think I would be able to!

There is a forum called the World Health Fitness forum where quite a few people seem to be on this or have tried this programme, most are from the US. Could be worth a look in if your after support and advice from those who have been there.

Well, it's been a week and happy to report that it's going well. I've not missed any workouts and have found them a little easier as the week went on. I still find it challenging but can manage pretty much the entire workout (minus the power yoga plank pushup into upward dog :dohh: and the chair dips) without stopping.
It is a good workout for people who are unfit and it's a good starting point although I have another 5 weeks at 1-2 level until I progress onto 3-4 and have a feeling that I'll start to find it too easy by then.
Wish I took my measurements last week because I'm sure I've lost inches off my waist so will take some this week. I lost 3.6lbs.

    onto week 2 :D
