Have you or anyone you know been given exemption from a tax demand using ESC a19?
How long did it take for HMRC to reply, I wrote to them at the begining of Oct but have heard nothing since.

You need to contact HMRC ..... they've been much swifter than that with most such enquiries.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Yes, they are given. I have seen one take 6 days to be decided, and another 6 months. Sorry, if you were hoping for any kind of consistency, with HRMC in the same sentence, then I can't help you lol0
