How much will/have you spent today Thursday 9/11?

Good morning lovely DFWs :)

I can't say what type of morning it is because a:) I am half asleep and wish I were still in bed and b) it's still dark out there :( It's definitely cold though! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :(

Feeling quite happy other than the early start this morning  I've got £250 to pay off the credit card later on today that was totally unexpected so very happy! :j

Today will be a non spender as I got everything I need and I splashed out yesterday on the Good Housekeeping magazine, Christmas edition :o £4.99 and so lovely! Will be making good use of it this Christmas :D

Have a lovely day and keep it low ;)

  • Morning moozie and others. I'm up early (due to a text msg bleeping on my mob at some ridiculously daft hour  ).

Not sure what today will hold spending-wise. I plan to spend some time in the garden, tidying up the masses of leaves that have fallen from neighbour's trees (last year this same neighbour had the cheek to whinge at me for having a bonfire - to get rid of the leaves - even though they are all from the huge, overgrown, long-overdue-for-pruning trees in HIS garden. This year I'm tempted to bag them all and dump them back over his fence...)

I've offered to go and buy a birthday present on behalf of someone today, as they can't get to the shops themselves and I'm hoping not to be tempted to spend on anything other than the bread and milk we need for home.

Unfortunately I can resist anything but temptation...........

I'm going to spend about £6 on posting my ebay items and £2 with parking and a slice of toast at college tonight!

BUT on a plus side I'm got to request my travel expences, and other money I've laid out for work which totals £330 OMG I didn't realise it was that much until I just added it up! and I wonder why I'm overdrawn tut

DEBT FREE for the first time in 10 years and with savings!

    Hi all!

Back from my hols and straight into work, got a message from boss to ask me to come in today as the 2 guys I work with have decided to call in sick. So here I am, in jeans and a t-shirt, fresh (!) from the airport. I knew he was desparate so have managed to wangle a fairly decent over time rate and time off in lieu.
Will need to buy lunch so that will be £1.75.

Post mortem of holiday finances to be conducted shortly, I have a feeling I am not going to like it.........

I'm staying in all day working (aka job hunting) and then I'm off for a night out - whoo hoo! The pub I work at is taking all the staff out for the night - it's a suprise where we're going. All we need to pay for is drinks - so I'll be on the cokes to keep the costs down. Looking forwards to it though :)

Don't even need to buy bread today as I've been baking home made rolls for lunches etc the last week or so and they're totally yummy :)

    Have a good day all!

    Morning all.

Didn't have time to update last night but my petrol came within my £30 budget at £25 and the food shop was just under budget at £28.36.

I was tempted to buy some smellies that weren't really a need but a bit of a bargain at £3.98 and if I don't use them myself in the meantime they will do for a pressie for one of the girls at work.

I'm staying clear of all shops today so hopefully a NSD for me.

    Have a good day all
