Looks good, but do bear in mind that it will more than likely be analogue in operation and they're talking about about switching some analogue broadcasts off as soon as 2009!!0

Come On!, it is only £22 ish. I'll just have to throw it away in 2009. By then freeview boxes will probably be as small as a matchbox anyway.Ye'!, And!!?. How am I supposed to know?0

I agree with what you say about it, I'm not buying one though I will laugh at those who do, come digital switchover time :rotfl:0 -
I already have one of these, I bought it a few years ago. I drive a taxi at weekends and use this when parked up.
You turn it on and press one of the buttons on the front to search for channels. There is a rotary adjustment on the side so that you can adjust the viewing angle up or down.
Well worth it at that price but you should use rechargeable batteries (4xAA) if you can.
As for lifespan, it could last you over 5 years, the switch over to Digital will be
2008 – Border
2009 – West Country, HTV Wales, Granada
2010 – HTV West, Grampian, Scottish Television
2011 – Yorkshire, Anglia, Central
2012 – Meridian, Carlton/LWT (London), Tyne Tees, Ulster

Will it be possible to hook up Sky+ and my DVD player to this via scart cable? I'm not sure it'll have the correct adapter for my home theatre kit. It's not the taking part but the winning that counts.0
