Eyelash curler advice, please...

I currently have a pair of Revlon eyelash curlers, and the foam pad in them has split. It did come with some replacement pads, but do you think I can find the remaining ones?
I also can't seem to find any replacement ones anywhere in either the high street or online - annoying! So, two questions:
1. Will replacement pads from another brand fit? If so, any recommendations, as I think I understand that not all pads are created equal?
2. If I can't get replacement pads, it's new curler time. My only real criteria are I don't want heated ones, and being able to get replacement pads is essential! If I have to go this route, I will be regarding it as an investment, but I don't want to pay over a tenner unless it is really worth it.
Thanks!

You could always trim them. Then wouldn't be an issue.0

I've made a small 'roll' of tissue and wedged in into my eyelash curlers when the foam split and it's been working perfectly for months. Very MSE indeed!"Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0

Any refill should fit - usually superdrug etc sell them
If you want a new set, the absolute best is Shu Uemura - when you've used these you'll never look back.
Best budget set are Cosmopolitan0 -

I have had a look at Shu Uemura, but they don't seem to do replacement pads? For that amount of money, I don't want to have to keep buying more pairs just because the pad has worn out - not very MSE!
Might try the tissue paper trick, see how that goes - thanks joyfull
More ideas welcome!

If you want cheap curlers that work well try Wilkinsons they are only £1 a pair. I can recommend them. They come with one spare pad as well.0

I second Shu Uemura, I've had 2 pairs which each came with a spare pad, and between them, those 2 pairs have lasted me over 3 years. Much, much better than any others I've tried.DFW by end of June 2016...! LBM June 2011
