Which fixed mortgage company...... ?

I owe about £28,000 on a house that is worth around £110,000 and I finished my fixed term on my mortgage last month. I'm looking at getting a mortgage for a term of 10/11 years.

I don't really want to pay a fee for the mortgage as it is so small. Can anyone advise the best rates around for a fixed mortgage between 2 and 5 years ?

Many thanks

What's your present lender offering? Also what's the follow on rate - you might be as well staying on that.

What you automatically go onto once your deal ends - usually the standard variable rate, sometimes a tracker.
  • This mortgage and term on an assumed rate of 7.00% would cost you £311 a month taken from an on line mortgage cost calculator. Repayment Basis.

Can you afford to pay that each month? How high do you think rates will go?

Check out your revert to, follow on or variable rate. Some people have had a very pleasant surprise of late!
