Christmas at Kew Gardens

I've also posted this in the Freebies board- but then thought it might be better here

Anyway, Kew Gardens are holding 2 evenings where they light everything up and have carols etc and entrance is FREE. Father christmas is going to be there for the children.

Taken from the Kew website:

Free Festive Late Night Openings
15 & 16 December, 4 – 9pm

Escape the hustle and bustle of the West End and enjoy one of Kew’s free Late Night Openings. Each evening, part of the Gardens will be beautifully transformed as the trees and magnificent Palm House will be lit with a kaleidoscope of colour. On both of these evenings there will also be a chance to sing along at our Carol Concerts, 6.30 - 7.30pm nightly.
Enjoy roast chestnuts, mulled wine, gingerbread men and pick up some last minute traditional Christmas gifts.
Father Christmas and the Climbers and Creepers characters will also be staying up late to meet the children. Father Christmas will be greeting children from 5pm - 7.45pm

They also have loads of other excellent activities over the christmas period :j

That sounds just brilliant! We love spending time in Kew Gardens with the kids. We get in free anyway, so with a picnic we always get a great family day out for nothing!

I am definately going to take the kids to that. Thanks for letting us know.
