Hello everyone.
I am just making sure I am doing the correct thing.
We are suppose to be doing a joint morgage at the end of this year, But found out my boyfriend has 12 Late payments:mad:, I just wish he would of told me as It was just for £9.
So I take it theres no chance what so ever for him to get accepted.
Luckily we live in north wales, and for £85k ish you can get a nice terrace house.
I earn £20k a year, so prob max they wud give me is 80k. Am I just best doing a sole morgage and keeping my credit report squeaky clean??
I am paying off my credit card and final bit of loan next month. Nationwide has agreed to remove my only mistake of a default for £26. So hopefully everything wil be ok. I have no late payments at all. So hopefully by November it will be all sorted.:)

At 90% LTV (purchase price £85k) the best mortgage you could obtain would be 76.5%.
Obtain a joint mortgage.
Clear all your debts before saving for a deposit.
For the next 12 months monitor your boyfriends personal finances!0
