Tesco Value Plain Chocolate

I went to buy some Tesco Value Plain Chocolate today as it is great in chocolate muffins.

However, there was no plain or dairy value chocolate at all or any shelf area where it should have been

Has anyone else noticed that it seems to have vanished?

I will have to stock up on the Sainsbury basics one if Tesco have stopped selling it.

Still loads in our branch. Things do go out of stock, not a great mystery...probably just someone cocked up the ordering.

I had the same mystery of disappearing value pitta bread in my local tesco. Was told they only stock it at certain times of the year.

I was thinking more along the lines of other brands make them more money, why sell something at 31p when they can sell another brand for twice the amount.

My local has the Value Dark, but not the Value Milk.

Not any more it doesn't; out of stock of both (and with a little label over the barcode to say so)

Which is a shame because I just fancied a bar the other week. Usually I prefer the Dark.

My local Tesco had no value chocolate at all and only a few bars of value cooking chocolate. Perhaps there is going to be a price rise:cool:

Just back from Tesco and loads of the value stuff, none of the "nice expensive" stuff though

Sainsburys cheap chocolate is so much nicer IMO, think of this as an opportunity to sample it :)
