So... I bought a little mini greenhouse (AKA growbag cover with space for tomatoes to grow tall!) at the weekend and will be going back to get the version with 3 shelves tomorrow.
I plan to grow tomatoes (have had little success the last few years for some reason, so hoping the cover will help me to regulate the water they get etc) and to put salad crops on the shelves of the other covered 'greenhouse'.
Is there anything else I can grow in this sort of covered-yet-outside space, or anything I could start out there before the salad things can go in? I will have to work in tubs as my garden (tiny as it is) is either clay or gravel :rotfl:

I grew cucumbers in a grow bag in just such a green house as yours. Apart from my runner beans, they were the most prolific vegetable last year and I couldnt pick them fast enough.I still have lots of cucumber chutney that I made from them. Very tasty!
