What about some jars of sweeties? I did a craft stall recently and they sold really well!
All you do is collect loads of jam jars/sauce jars, washing them out and peeling off the labels. Sterilise them (inc lids) by putting them through the hottest wash on your dishwasher or washing them in boiling water then drying them off by putting them in the oven.
Then fill them with pink sweets (marshmallows, cherry lips, raspberry/strawberry bon bons, love hearts, chocolate shaped hearts-foil wrapped ones, asda do some foamy txt love sweets and some foamy noughts and crosses that you can call hugs & kisses).
or heart-shaped biccies home-made.
or pasta boobs for the older ones as small children find rude things a bit funny, plus it might offend (from lot of online gift stores, joke shops and places dealing in hen party goodies like Ann Summers)
Decorate the jars with pink labels, pink tissue paper on the lid and tie with pink ribbon/elastic. With them being sealed in jars they should keep well, just make sure you check the packs of sweets for a good long sell-by-date.
What about PRINCESS PORRIDGE?? Have you seen reindeer food? Well its the same kind of idea but if you use pink edible glitter & pink edible sugar crystals, possibly with some mini marshmallows and a tsp of strawberry milkshake powder in with the porridge oats. Then you add a card/label with the instructions on how to make it up to porridge. You could use the cellophane cones or bags with decorated with pink labels & pink curling ribbon or even your recycled jam jars!
LOVE SOCKS...take a pair of socks, seperate them and roll up each end from the toe to the heel in a swiss roll style. Leaving a little section about 1/4 of the length of the sock (i.e. the ankle part if its an ankle sock). Now put the two rolled up socks facing each other with the swiss roll parts facing each other and at the top, and the two tail bits hanging down on the outside of each roll. Now take these unrolled tail sections, and turn it inside out on itself. As if you're balling up socks for your sock drawer. Tuck the two bits together right upto the swiss roll part making it thicker and joining it. It should resemble a heart shape. Hold the two socks in place and tie round the outside with a pink or red ribbon or wrap with some tissue paper or decorated wrapping paper.
Can you sew? You can buy those tote canvas bags...plain ones from most craft stores & online, I know hobbycraft had them in for 99p each. Then decorate them with pink ribbon you have. Or sew little pink kisses (lip-shapes) or hearts out of any scraps of fabric you have (charity shops are a good source of cheap material just dont tell them you're going to hack them up), use any stamps you may have (again kisses, hearts or little lady stick figure) and some fabric paint to do block printing or colour the stamps in with fabric pens (the ones you have to iron over once you've done your design on the fabric to fix it). Or you could do some sort of "ribbon of hope" pattern on the centre of the bag in pink buttons or those little pink rose flowers you get from habedashery shops for like 3p each, or use rose petals (look in bridal sections of shops or pull the heads off artificial flowers and use them), or some little pink pom-poms or make some little plaits from cheap pink/red wool and do a face outline shape with pink pigtail hair!0 -
