Did anyone else here win this competition...

...and, if so, did you receive your prize?
It was in November, (but I got the winning e mail beginning of December) with Filmshaft. It was a Millenium Trilogy Goody Bag. There were three to be won and included...1x Dragon Tattoo DVD, 1x Hornet’s Nest book and 1x Hornet’s Nest T-shirt.

I've won one but haven't received it. On Filmshaft it says to get in touch if you haven't received your prize within 28 days. So I have e mailed the editor, as that's the only way you can contact them. I've sent about 5 mails but have been ignored. I was wondering about posting something on their Facebook page, and then maybe they'd answer me. I would say something on their Twitter but I don't have it.

It just seems funny that there was a competition on here the other day from Filmshaft, and someone mentioned that they don't always send the prizes to the winners.

I'd normally just put it down to a bad win but I'd promised my daughter it when it came, and she keeps nagging me.

Yeah that was the one. I didn't get it from this site though.
I answered with my details and they said they'd received them and sent them to the company that deals out the prizes...but nothing.

I've sent so many polite e mails explaining but they are all just ignored. I know it isn't a big win, I just want to get my daughter off my back really.

It's just weird that someone mentioned the other day that Filmshaft don't always send out prizes. So, I know it's not just me.
I've tried a couple of different e mails ( the editor, the editor in chief etc) but nobody answers.

I've just left a message on their Facebook page. I hope I've been polite and it doesn't get deleted.

Wow, that didn't last long. They deleted my Facebook question :eek:

I was so polite and just enquiring about it but they've taken it off their board. Looks like I'm not getting this prize then. It makes me a bit angry to be honest, why companies bother doing competitions if they don't want to honour any wins.

Have just posted again asking why they deleted my previous post. Wonder how long before they block me.

Thank you both. I wouldn't usually be bothered, as wins can take ages to arrive. It's only after someone warned that Filmshaft don't always send out their prizes, that got me thinking. And then being ignored and deleted made me wonder if this other person was right.

I can always buy my daughter the book and the film to shut her up, just don't know where I'd get the t shirt.
