Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit Deeperblue.
Having read the ad again now, I can see it's a scam for sure but I really don't appreciate the tone of Colin's or your reply. Pardon me for asking.0 -
I'm with you Blue Mermaid
a polite "yes its a scam" would have sufficed

theres normally some tell tale signs
up front fee, normally a low amount like £19.99 which you think is worth the risk and probably would not bother chasing up for a refund
a job that has claims of high weekly earnings "just working at home"
any envelope stuffing scheme
a job that involves recieving payments on behalf of companies and passing it on less a fee, this will be money laundering and you will be the one in touble , normally involves stolen credit cards or bank accounts.
Any job that offers you reseller rights and all you need to do is recruit other people (Pyramid schemes)Ex forum ambassador

Thanks Browntoa.
I always dismiss any that ask for money.
I did find 2 legitimate home based jobs recently. Trouble is, as soon as they hear how long it is since my last job, they lose interest. So many people with recent experience applying for each opportunity.
There is a chance one of them might still get back to me, as they have shown some interest. I expect if they don't find anyone else, they'll consider me. I do have relevant experience but it was a long time ago.
I thought I might be in with a chance with one last year, which was actually with the main charity for the illness I suffer with. Didn't even get an interview though!
My luck might be changing though...someone I met recently might be able to offer me some work occasionally, typing up inventories for him, as he hates computers.
Thanks again Browntoa.0 -

Apologies Blue Mermaid if my tongue in cheek response upset you so much.0
