I don't know if this has already been posted on here, or if they are available any cheaper elsewhere, but Lidl has these in stock from Monday.

These should show how much electric an appliance uses, it can also be programmed with the unit rate to calculate an actual amount of money.
May come in useful in proving to partners and children how expensive things are when they are left switched on. :beer:

Yep I spotted it too - off to buy one. and boy do I need one to educate my lot.
One of my sons put the sandwich maker on last night when he came in from work at 1am. I woke up at 5.30 to discover he'd forgotten to turn it off after him - been on over 4 1/2 hours!!!!:mad:
will show them how much electricity they use playing games etc.

yrah well my laptop only use 70watts which does not cost that much the tv uses 60watts.
its your big stuff you should think about fridge cooker washing machine they and get A ones and then your lights 100W bulb :eek:0 -

Great, I'm definitely getting one. Can anyone recommend any other particularly good value products at LiDL while I'm at. I already know about the olive oil and gherkins.
