Mortgage advise bad credit first time buyer.

I was on a debt management plan when I was struggling with payments. All debts Are now paid off and I have built up a decent deposit of 20% for a small first time buyers home. It's only been a year since I finished my debt management plan and I did receive defaults but no ccjs. I dnt want to apply for mortgages to keep getting turned down. Does anyone know of companies that would entertain me? Thanks

May be options for you. You would need to speak to a broker though.
Without knowing full details it is impossible to say but there are a few specialist lenders out there who will look at past adverse credit.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Having had the DMP will exclude most lenders.
A handful "may" look at your application, but it will depend on the exact details of what shows on your credit file, as to whether or not they will accept your application.
Things like dates defaults were first registered will impact on their decision.
Do you have an up to date copy of your credit file?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
