  • Looking at the reviews on there they look like a waste of money even with £60 off.

You'd be better to go for the CX 300+ models.

from the reviews I get the impression that they are likely to be fakes, which is a very big problem with 'cheap' sennheisers

I've got some Sennheisers and tbh I prefer the standard Apple headphones with my ipod. The Sennheisers were very Bass-y and the songs didn't sound quite right.

    Just to warn you! :)
  • My husband - a long time Sennheiser user - bought a pair from Amazon last week after our dog chewed his (oops):

    - they are the genuine article
    - the sound is awesome
    - so good I've just ordered my 18yr old daughter a pair too

Can't comment on the ebay ones

You are in a distinct minority with that opinion - the Apple headphones are about as basic as you can get!

The ones that the OP is referring to are from a Marketplace seller, not Amazon.

  • I'm going to order some, my delicate ears are too small for the Apple . Thanks.
