  • Excellent work in overpaying, and keep up the job hunting. It looks like you'll be grateful for the overpaying if you're (and I hope you're not) unemployed for any period.

    Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
    September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
    April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
    Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045

    Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 2037

    thats a massive overpayment in just 3 months so keep up the good work

  • Well, you're doing an amazing job! Fingers crossed that everything works for you and you come out of this with a much lower mortgage, a good new job when your current one ends, and a shiny new attitude to debt which is invaluable!

  • You are still looking brilliantly - there might be a few blips along the road but you know which way you are heading, so you cant go far wrong, and you have made some brilliant overpayments :)
