Non occupying co borrower

Does anybody know which mortgage companys accept non occupying co borrowers.
My ex is buying me out and his father is going onto the mortgage. Currently with Chelsea but they have refused the application, and have said they have recently amended their terms and no longer accept non occupying co borrowers.
They will not allow my name to be taken off the mortgage as my ex is unable to get the mortgage on his own ( even though i no longer live there! )
Any help is much appreciated

Not your problem if you've vacated the property. Suggest to you ex the property is sold.0

We have a son and have joint custody so we would rather the house is not sold. I am trying to find a solution to the problem as without the money from him buying me out, i am uanble to buy a new house.2018: £500, Back to 90's VIP Tix, Safety boots, Book, Weekend at Thorpe Park0

Understand your predicament. Though as often is the case their is insufficent equity in a property to fund the purchase of 2 properties when a relationship breaks down. Something has to give. Even if it means both parties accepting a downsizing in property to accomadate the arrangement made for the children.0
