returning online purchases from nov/dec?

Hi

thought I'd ask here before I go to the post office!

I ordered my daughter a coat online from M&S and one from debenhams before Christmas and meant to return them as they did not fit. TOTALLY forgot about them and have just found them in a pile of "stuff" to be sorted/decluttered!

Anyone know if I would be able to return them via post? They are all in original packing, never been worn etc? I know its been ages but do most places let you return stuff til end of Jan if its Christmas gifts?

Debenhams do have a Christmas gift return policy up to 29th January but I'm not sure what date they're backdating too...I'd assume definitely December but not sure about November. It's worthwhile giving them a quick call.

i'd just post it back, they're unlikely to send it back to you once they have it.
