Bought my house with my girlfriend 5 years ago for 80k mortgage and 5k loan part from Northern Rock. We've just come to the end of our fixed term but are looking to fix. If we move from Northern Rock what happens to the loan part of the mortgage? It's around 3k at the moment? Also how to mortgage compaines value your house? and is there much difference between banks/ mortgage compaines?
