Hi guys
hope you can help
some of you may have seen recent posts on the mortgage board about how we can advertise our house better as its been on the market a while & we've seen a house we want to buy....
anyway, to cut to now.... we're starting to get more interest and have a 2nd viewing this week. Hubby & i decided it was time to contact our current mortgage company to work out what was the lowest offer we could accept.... Turns out that because i recently left my job due to ill health during pregnancy they couldnt even lend us what we already owe?!? bizarre..... i'll post on mortgage board about advice for that part....
loan part.
we are now wondering if we cant get a mortgage to move, or to extend our mortgage on existing property to extend our kitchen, would it be possible to get a loan to pay for this extension?
we're looking around £10k maybe £15? need to get quotes.
my question is basically if the mortgage company wont extend due to our current circumstances, will any loan providers be the same. We can afford to make repayments of around £150 per month.
We've never had loans or store cards or credit cards or finance of any kind so dont have a clue how to go about this one!
I'd really appreciate your help, thoughts and advice.
