Baby shower games?

Hi all,

I am organising baby shower for my sister and have been a bit stumped on ideas for games. So far I have:

stick the dummy on the baby (bought a kit from Amazon)
guess the size of the bump (have some string for this)
sweepstake (date, weight, sex)

Has anyone else got any other ideas? There will be about 20 people there.

It's really not my cup of tea but my sister wanted it and I just want to make it fab for her!

Thanks :D

Hi, I helped organised one last year, with games etc. The biggest hit was "guess the baby". I e-mailed all the guests a few days before and got them to e-mail me a baby snap, put them all together on a A4 sheets for each guest to guess who was who. Also there was guess the baby food (take the jar labels off before), Name the baby animal (you can goggle more unsual difficult ones), Also another good game is if you get two bowls one filled with water with added cotton balls floating, another empty. Blindfolded using a large spoon, you have to try to get the cotton balls from bowl to empty one. (this is actually very funny to watch!) The person with the most transfered wins!
Wow my memory is very bad, we had like 10 games, but thats all I can remember
Get a flip chart and keep score, a bit of competiveness makes it fun

Give everyone a ball of playdoh and they have to make a baby - cutest / funniest one wins.

Also if you could get hold of a cloth nappy (or muslin square) get them to have a go at putting the nappy on a doll - fastest one wins???

lol yeah ive heard of this. the key is that it is Melted chocolate!:rotfl: lol
  • when i had mine 8yrs ago all guests were given a "large" balloon, when they arrived and they had to wear it up their top all the party so i wasnt the ony 1 who struggled. LOL!

guests were also asked to bring a baby photo and a recent photo of themselves, and they were placed on noticeboards babies and adults and the other guests had to match baby to adult.

jelly baby and flour game.....bowl full of flour up-turned onto a tray etc, place jelly baby on the top, kneeling down hands behind back must try n grab jelly baby with mouth.

1 i wanted to do but didnt was give everyone a baby bottle to drink through - quick way to get drunk - think straw!!!
due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
