HOW do I clean an oven chip tray...?

Options
I have a circular Chip Tray / Pizza Tray that I cook HM chips, roasties etc in the oven.

It's got inch-sized holes all over it and is coated with a silver-type, non-stick coating.

Well..... I left in in the oven - a Rayburn, which is on all of the time - overnight and when I took it out this morning, the fat that was on it has gone all black and won't come off!

If I SCRUB with lots of elbow grease, I might be able to get some of it off but that will also take off the non-stick coating.....

What could I use to get it off...?

I've seen Kim and Aggie use Soda Crystals (?) and/or Lemon Juice......

Can you give me ideas please...?
