Anyone had any luck with Quidco Compare?
This is a new Quidco feature that claims to 'Save time & money with cashback + comparison in one place', 'Compare from over 60 of the UK's leading providers' and also 'The ultimate way to save'.
I tried it for my car insurance this weekend with very disapointing results.
This is a new Quidco feature that claims to 'Save time & money with cashback + comparison in one place', 'Compare from over 60 of the UK's leading providers' and also 'The ultimate way to save'.
I tried it for my car insurance this weekend with very disapointing results.
- My current car insurance renewal quote was £307
- Entered my details in Quidco Compare and the best offer was £321.22 less £24 cashback (saving me £10 against my renewal quote)
- I disregarded the Quidco Compare quote, and 'went direct' through Quidco in the normal manner. The very first company I picked - Aviva quoted me £254, less £70 cashback (saving me a whopping £123!)

I'll give it a go tomorrow. Have spent hours today pricing car insurance. Cheapest quote I've had so far is Co op followed by Aviva.0
