im so confused now i dont know whether to add these new answer and prize each day to the thread or not.
according to this post by diva these need posted newly each day. unless the classic fm one is in some way different to all the other daily comps with new prize/answer details.

I would guess not - my understanding is the daily sticky is for competitions that you can enter everyday using the same link. If the competition starts and ends on the same day, dont add it, but if it lasts for longer (you can win a prize via the same link everyday, or its enter everyday for a big draw at the end) then they should be there.

But, the ClassicFM comp can be entered every day using the same link. (I have the link bookmarked and use the same one every day) and you CAN win a prize via the same link every day.

the one day comps....how are people who dont comp by newly added, or who dont keep up and are a day or two behind by newly added supposed to get to enter them? especially if they are posted with the wrong end date so they dont get moved to game over before they actually end?

They will just have to miss them but does one or two missed really matter? I try to comp by newly added but, lately, seem to be at least a day behind. So any new one day comps have finished by the time I see them unless it's a site I know is running one day comps and I have it bookmarked.
Why are people still posting with the wrong end dates. I thought it had been decreed by Anthea that comps will only be moved to GO after they have ended. Doesn't this remove the need for putting the date a day later?

because posts are still being moved during the day of the day they end some of the time. some days they are left for 2 or 3 days after the end date, others they are moved on the day......thats what i have noticed anyway with the game overing.

the issue with the dmail bag thread being posted as ongoing on regs is that then people will miss it. so i guess the answer is yes one or two comps missed does matter to many people.

But thats the whole point - if you comp by end date, only by regulars, are a bit behind with your comping you are going to miss out, you could post it on every sticky you want to think of but someone out there is still going to miss out - i think you are worrying too much about people missing out - i cannot think of a single way of making sure that everyone gets to see every competition, but you need to make sure as many people get to see as many comps as you can, and as the majority of people do comp from the main board that means most comps must be posted on that board.
