Is this allowed?

I have seen a house I like for 99K. I was thinking of offering 85K for it or 95K if he pays my 5% deposit.

If he opts for the latter, is that likely to be accepted by my mortgage provider?

    What size deposit have you without the gift deposit?

    Your better going for the lower offer as banks don't like gift deposits any more.
