Jelly disaster

Okay, I assume it's too acidic or something but I put (frozen) rasperries in a jelly (with tinned peaches) and it hasn't set. Is there anything I can do or make with the liquid mess that I have here?

Thanks

  • It's too much liquid which is the problem. The only solution that I know of is more gelatine

I have done this before and ended up making a yummy trifle type thing.
Pour the 'mess' onto sliced cake in a bowl and leave to soak into it. Cover with custard then cream and just pretend it was meant to be like that all along!

Thanks for the advice but it eventually set, albeit only just. It tastes lovely - I can't have accounted for the water in the raspberries themselves (which I put in the hot jelly mixture frozen). I was going to make some sort of jelly smoothie, which would have been interesting though probably less successful than trifle.
