noise cancelling earphones?

hi guys,
I have very noisy neighbours and i am wondering if anyone has ever bought earphones which cancel out noise? I have had a look online but i think a recommendation might be the best way to ensure they work. i tried ear plugs a couple of weeks ago and ended up with a nasty ear infection so they are out.
i have reported them but they drink a lot and going and asking them to turn it downs not really an option.
Thanks.

No idea what the above are like but look interesting.
Other than that try any of these, although tricky sleeping

Have yopu contacted your local council about the noise? I don't think getting ear cancelling earphones should be your solution- people being overly loud and abusive is not right and needs to be dealt with- you shouldn't have to be looking for earphones!0

Be careful with noise cancelling headphones, I know someone who feels that they have caused a type of tinnitus for her - though she was using them pretty intensively...0
