Back to me making goulash. Might (just might) try it in the slow cooker and with stewing steak.
I buy packets from Austria for goulash (I know, awful, but they taste great and you can't buy them over here).
I usually brown me meat, bung the packet in with the required amount of water, loads of paprika and bobs your uncle.
Will it work in a slow cooker, if I just put the uncooked meat in and the water and packet and paprika over the top?
