temporary job ongoing

hi i work in a outsourced call centre where i started in aug on a 4 week temp contract, then i was moved onto another temp contract till end of dec now ive been moved onto another one till end of apr, im happy to be working but is there a point when temp workers should have a contract of some sort so far ive had nothing i had accrued leave up until dec which the call centre manaager said no one could take due to the need to keep working to try and extend the contract (fair enough) but now they have deducted my accrued leave as its the start of a new leave year, im not entitled to paid sick leave till ive been there 6 months, sureley we must have some sort of rights of employment can anyone offer any advice thanks

You do not say if you are a temp directly with the Company or through an agency? There are new laws coming in this year.

Have you received written particulars of your employment? This would cover your holiday year as well as your rate of pay, when employment began, your job title (or similar), and so on.

As long as your temp contracts have continued without a gap, then your employment dates from the time that you started work with them.

Do you have evidence that you requested holiday and that your request was refused?
