I have a fondness for mushroom puri, which is mushrooms in an indian sweet and sour sauce in a fried wrap. They are delish but I am wondering if anyone knows how to make the sauce.
I have found recipes for the actual puri (the fried bread) but not the sauce.

I think this is a made-up concoction - like tikka masala. Sometimes I look at restaurant menus and think !!!!!!, and how my late grandmother (an excellent cook) would have laughed!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
