in Loans
Hello,
I just wanted to post a big THANK YOU to Martin. I am 29 and having left Uni at 21 I took some very bad advice (from mum) and got a loan, which was supposed to run for 5 years, but inevitably got added to as time went on.
Having heard about this site on Jezza Vine's show I became an e-mail receiver, and started to sort out my and my new hubbies finances. Because of your advice Martin today I have made the final payment on said loan!!! Which had we not have had your advice would still be paying for another year (got a bad deal and didn't realise it, but switched to Northern Rock) With much penny pinching our 8K loan has been paid off in 2 years - and on quite small salaries (at one point we had less than 20K income) and on top of a mortagage and all the rest I think is an achievement.
Now all that is left is 3.5K on 0% interest Credit cards (i've become a tart with these) which should be gone in 6 months (got new job, more money etc!)
So Martin - THANK Y0U FOR HELPING ME TO SAVE A BUNDLE OF DOSH AND TIME YOU ARE SIMPLY A GREAT PERSON
