Argos currently have over £57 off this set which was a good deal to start with. Has good reviews.

I've had this furnature from argos before, not the bed but the bedside table, draws and wardrobe and be warned that they all fell apart after a few months of use.
While the wood is pretty solid the parts that hold the pieces of wood together are complet rubbish!0 -

Got to agree. I had an Argos pine chest of drawers and the backs kept falling off, then the fronts. You get what you pay for I guess.Hoping this year is better than the last.0 -

To be honest, I found the backs on the this set of draws/wardrobes on offer here to be ok actually.
It's the screws/joints etc that really let it down as they just fall to bits.0 -
Azza, you are right, the joints were poor which is why the backs of the drawers came off after a while.
Tried wood gluing them back in, but only lasted a short while before the joint gave up again.Hoping this year is better than the last.0 -
Sounds like a great bargain.
does anyone know what the mattress is like?0 -
I bought the bed frame for my room at uni a couple of years ago, I was quite impressed until one of the longest ends snapped in two when I sat on it. However, having said that, I am a person of the larger persuasion and am known for being clutsy, clumsy and generally not gentle with things.
I have had the side table for over a year, it only has occasional use but it seems fine; although the pine is very solid I don't expect it to last that long as the fixings aren't great.0
