Elisabeth Arden 8 hour cream - best price?

Hi everyone

I'm a big fan of this and about to run out, so was looking around for the best price for a 50ml tube

Cheap Smells has it at £14.95 incl delivery BUT review centre doesn't give them a thumbs up - eek!

http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews202608.html

Has anyone else used them?

The next best price for a retailer I've used before is £20 incl delivery from Slapiton

Or I can find 30ml on ebay for £10.95 incl delivery

Anyone else have suggestions?

Thanks
Fluff

I've used Cheap Smells a couple of times and not had a problem. Checkout is simple and quick and delivery times were good.

That's interesting - I guess people only tend to comment when they've had a bad experience!
    Thanks

I bought my tube about 6 yrs ago & only use it on my lips & the odd dry patch of skin....and I'm now squeezing the life out of the tube and its running out! I paid £8.00 on Ebay back then.......dreading having to buy another one.

Well CheapSmells is the best price I've found, so I've just placed an order. Then realised that TopCashBack offer a 6% discount if you go through them! D'oh!

Have any of you ever tried Weleda Calendula Weather Protection cream I've seen a few people online say it's a good alternative to 8hr cream at £6.95 it might be worth a shot. I've gotten it from our local health food shop & do like it but confess I've never used 8hr cream,
    Booo!!!
  • Big fan of 8 hour cream, and have had no problems at all with Cheapsmells - used them several times for perfume and 8 hour stuff. Would recommend. In fact, need more 8 hour myself so off to order!

Just an update, my eight hour cream arrived today from Cheap Smells - took about a week but a very good price!
  • I bought my 8 hour cream a few years ago from Ethel Austin shop ( are they still around?) for under a tenner.
  • I've bought some of this from eBay recently and it smells very odd. I like the product but am put off by the smell. Have I got a tube that's out of date, or does it actually smell odd??

It does smell a bit like medicine but it does work on really dry skin. Not sure I'd slather it all over my face though... I just use it for lips, cracked fingertips (very glam) and any odd dry patches elsewhere
