The Wii is the console. You plug this into your tv to play games.
You also need a controller (the Wii-mote) and for some games a nunchuck too (this plugs into the Wiimote). Newer games need you to plug an extra bit of kit (motionplus) into the controller to make reading your movements more accurate (newer remotes come with this built in). To play many of the exercise games you need to buy an additional balance board. This comes with either the games Wii fit or Wii fit plus or you can buy a third party one and buy a copy of either game on it's own. There are many other exercise games for the wii which don't use the board or only use it a bit so you may decide you don't need one.
It should be noted here that the balance board is the same whether it comes with Wii fit or Wii fit plus game only the game is different (and the price too). TBH I bought a cheap Wii fit and board and use the Biggest Loser game most often as it appeals to me more than the Wii fit game.
If you are spending all that money to use the Wii as an exercise machine take a look at Youtube to see demos of the many exercise games and see if any appeal and whether you might need the board or not.
I have bought a package with 1 remote which is motion plus, obviously I will need another remote so incase of 2 player games so am i right in thinking i'd be better to buy a motion plus one and if so how much are these in black? are these the same as the ones that I see advertised as wii remote plus? sorry for all the questions lol0 -

its same console so you can always but motion plus to go with it, would still be cheaper than buying a bundle with motionplus

Thanks OP!0 -
none left in gamston nottingham, if you are thinking about getting one I would go now as stores either dont seem to have a lot of stock (or staff have bought them all first lol)0

Sold out all over by me. Are they doing this promotion again or is it just for today?0

Hi,
It will almost certainly just be a one off "when its gone its gone" kind of deal as they will be trying to clear any residual old stock they have in their system.Either that or Nintendo are off-loading them cheap to get rid of their stock.Either way they will probably only get one drop of Wii's per store.
