my partner started a new job 40 hrs a week min wage, she used to be unemployed and before that worked pt time at £70 a week. so when she worked pt time she never got taxed.
shes handed in p45 and still getting taxed on a 647 code, we worked out she will earn about £5000 max overall from jsa pt wages and new job at end of april thsi year.
so when does her current wages stop getting taxed.

Sounds like the code being used is emergency code on a week1/month1 basis. Check part 1A of the P45 that you kept and see if the tax code at section 6 had an X in the box after it and that figures appeared in section 8 but not in section 7. If this is the case then the P45 had an emergency code on it and the employers were correct in using it. The tax office will have been informed and should issue a cumulative code with pay and tax details in due course. If this does not happen in a month or so you could chase them up.
If however the P45 did not have an X in section 6 and had figures in section 7 possibly 8 as well, then the employer has not used it. Contact the payroll office to see what the problem is may just be that it did not reach them in time for the last pay run.0
