I have just had an email from UKTV saying I have won a spa break. Does anyone know where I can get any information about this win and find out if I have won and if so what I have won.

If it is an email, I suspect that it is a win. Reply to the email asking them to give a name and a number for you to ring to verify. I looked on their website, and here are their contact details.

I think that UKTV give out a lot of prizes so possibly they contact winners via email before trying to ring them.

Thank you so much. I have hunted all over the website but the most recent winners they have on there are August. I am just desperate to see if what is included in the prize. If its just a spa weekend I'm not sure if we could afford the meals out and travelling costs dependign where it is, so I don't want to get too excited in case I can't go.

well, if you haven't replied to the email yet, you could reply asking them to supply prize details (as the prize is described in the terms and conditions). This will tell you exactly what to expect. When they originally described the prize they would have had to do this.

don't worry, reply to the email again and ask them to send you prize details, that way you have time to think before going any further. If you get involved in a phone conversation you have no record, whereas by email you can go back to it and look up the options you have.

They have a duty to inform you of any additional costs you may incur!!! and well done, by the way, if it all pans out.

I had a reply from UKTV yesterday with some of the details of the win;

I then calle the spa place and asked them if meals would be included, and they said YES :j they said everyone who stays there has food and drink included. I then looked up the cost to stay there and its over £400 for 2 nights. I have a one night stay but I am still so excited now! I've been enterering so many comps this year and this is by far my biggest win!.

Thanks, I must admit I have entered hundreds and probably thousands competitions and spent hours entering them to get this but I am really chuffed. Darent' tell anyone about it though until I have the piece of paper in my sweaty little hand.
