Hello pumpa

I think you'll get more responses in the 'Benefits, Tax Credits & Jobseeking' board, so I'll move your thread across.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.

    Regards

I'm sure I won't know the answer, but if you say what kind of course it was and whether the person wanting to claim is on any kind of benefit it might help those who might know the answer give it, IYSWIM ...

Also does the whole course have to be re-taken, or is there any facility for resitting the test? Again, might be relevant.

    I wouldn't be holding my breath, I'm afraid ...

you can resit the test but you would have to pay for it privately. its a pcv licence test. the person who failed the test is now back on benefits as the company terminated employment the moment the test was failed!
