Aviva Endowment Bonus annoucement- When?

Does anyone know the Aviva bonus announcement date or is it not published to a set scheduled date.

Aviva informed me that the bonus rates will be announced on Feb 5th.

Well, my Aviva endowment (Norwich union) has just matured.

My maturity value letter has no breakdown of figures but could tell from the value that was little if at all.

Rang Aviva, who didn't want to tell me how the final figure was achieved (or not) but after much insistance was told that the final bonus was, wait for it................................£ 45 per 1K assured. (from Jan 1st 2011. Last year up till 31/12/10 was £85)

The endowment was 30 K sum assured 10 K. Final maturity ~ 22k which included £2800 promise.

So, what to do now with the money. Present mortgage has 15 yrs to run which is partly funded by above endowment, so unsure wether to pay off, invest or spend spend spend.

Hi thanks for your input, I paid off my mortgage about 15 years ago but left this running as a savings account.

If I still had a mortgage I would pay down the balance or as much as I could with the endowment proceeds.
