ABOUT THE BAND

One of the biggest bands on the UK music scene, The Automatic have come a long way from their early lives in the small Welsh village of Cowbridge. Fresh off the back of tours with Goldie Lookin Chain, The Kooks and The Ordinary boys, they’re performing a one-off exclusive gig, promising to give an airing to the mosher’s favourites, Monster and Raoul. You lucky blighters!

Terms and conditions state 'Open to Virgin Mobile customers as at 2.11.06'. However it seemed to let me enter without putting a mobile number into the form...

T&C also say 'There are 780 free tickets to The Automatic gig at Carling Academy Islington on 26th November 2006. Terms and conditions on tickets apply and the venue reserves the right to refuse entry. You'll be notified by text and letter if you've got tickets and, if so, the number of tickets awarded.'

So I don't know if you have to get the text to get the tickets, or if you'll just get a letter.

You can get the tickets by texting the number you want ie. FOUR to 26666 this then instantly allocates them to you. You get sent a barcode to your phone nearer the time which you show at the entrance. I have done it using this method and have been allocated 4 tickets.
