Something old..something new..

My borrowed was my mums dainty gold watch....and far nicer than my normal one which would have shown uo like a sore thumb in the photos!

Old - my great grandmothers necklace which will be 61 years old by the time I wear it
New - dress, undies, tiara, earrings, wedding ring etc
Borrowed - was going to be my sister's tiara but it didnt go with the necklace
Blue - I have the crystal stickers for the shoes but I can't wear them on my curling shoes because of the ice - my friend bought me socks with love hearts on them and I think they might be blue.......

Somthing old and borrowed will be my nan's wedding ring which belongs to my mum, nearly everything I'm wearing is new, and blue on my garter, but my colour theme is teal so lots of things that are near blue too!

But I now have:
Old - garter made with vintage ribbon and pearls
New - Stud earrings
Borrowed - my mum's watch
Blue - my dress has a blue rose embroidered in its lining, I love that the dress maker does this!

Blue - My garter has a little blue bow on it (Its gold,ivory with a blue bow)

I am hoping either the old or the borrowed will be something of my nannas who is no longer with us. I have told my mum i must have something of hers on our day :0)

My future MIL offered to lend me her blue garter, so that's something old, blue and borrowed in one go

I had:

Old: A locket that belonged to my nan that I wear a lot anyway. I wear it on a necklace but had it put onto my bracelet for the day.
New: Dress, veil, jewellery, underwear shoes...!
Borrowed: A diamond and ruby ring from MIL - it was her mum's. I had red roses so it even went with the colour scheme. Wore it on my right hand.
Blue: My hoop for my dress came with a teeny blue bow on it.

Had a lucky sixpence in my shoe too, from the year my nan was born.

not too sure for most but i bought diamonties for the bottom of my shoe which are blue, one says 'I' the other 'Do'. Just a bit of fun. No-one will see unless i show them.

i was thinking about this the other night and im totally stuck...

old -
new - just about everything im wearing
borrowed -
blue - this one will be easy, a blue bead or ribbon somewhere in the bouquet perhaps?

but old and borrowed are throwing me, it cant be jewellery so im reaaaally going to have to get my thinking hat on (or i could borrow someone elses old blue thinking hat)
