Been researching composition orders for a friend on Google and in the details about Admin and Composition Orders it mentions about CCJ's. I wonder if I have got any? I have never received anything from a court? Hoe could I find this out?

I would imagine that if you have never been to court regarding your debt you will not have a CCJ (County Court Judgement). You can find out for sure though by requesting your credit report from http://www.experian.co.uk or from http://www.equifax.co.uk.
Any CCJs you may or may not have will be on that report.I'm so sexy it's a wonder my underpants don't explode.0 -
Yes CCJs from the last 6 years should be on your credit file. Or you can search the register of county court judgements:
The Registry of County Court Judgments
173-175 Cleveland Street
London
W1P 5PE
Tel: 020 7380 0133
It costs £4.50 for each name and address searched.

Make sure that you don't buy them online as they're more expensive. They only cost £2 from both companies if you receive them in the post (they can be ordered online to be sent in the post).0 -
right thanks guys. I certainly have never been to court, but was under the impression that these things can proceed in your absence?Official DFW Nerd #148
