  • hi there
not had chance to get on here all weekend, been mega busy! fallen off the wagon a bit money wise :( i always seem to do so well for the 1st week after payday, then i check the bank balance, see its looking good and blow it!!!!! grrrrrr so angry at myself.
    over the weekend i spent:
£10 on a night out on saturday (for our anniversary!)
£5 on an anniversary pressie for hubby
£15 on food on sunday for dinner with friends
    £30 on petrol on monday
£15 on taking the boys out and snacks on monday

feel like ive totally ruined my monthly budget :( hopefully by posting what im spending ill force myself to get back on track. only spent £4 today for work lunch, couldnt bring any with me cos id ran out of bread! plus im working a 13 hour shift today so i needed something warm to keep me going
got plenty of food in (apart from bread lol) so aiming for a nsd weds and friday, and then thursday to only spend my tesco clubcard vouchers for shopping.
done a meal plan for the next week to use up all my leftovers- yay

tonight- hubbys cooking pasta bake for when i get in, lovely!
weds- bean burgers, salad n homemade wedges
thurs- curry night!! all made with leftovers from the freezer and cupboards
    fri-burritos with leftover chilli
    sat-homemade pizzas
sun-roast chicken and spicy indian potatoes

my monthly payment to the cc has come out of my account too- the minimum is £101 but i paid £125 this month, going to update my signature next.
worked out that even if i onyl make this payment every month, ill have reduced my debt by nearly 20% by august :)
on the down side tho... not going to have enough money left to pay my next bill in full (£50) like i wanted to so going to pay half this month and the rest after payday
    booooooo to overspending!!!
  • ooo yes and i forgot to say, i finally got my ipsos survey £15 amazon vouchers!!! already spent them tho, ha.
got a slow cooker recipe book so i can start making full use of it (£0.01!!)
Grayson Perrys autobiography as ive just finished reading all my christmas books, and really want to get back into my art books (£4.00)
a novel for hubby to keep him occupied and stop him spending! (£0.01!!!!!)
and the rest went on some decorating things for our bedroom that we needed.
all in all very successful i think
