Stunning destination!! The more of these honeymoon plans i see the more it's killing me that i don't know where we're going!
saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
We're 29% of the way there...

richardlionheart please can you tell me what there is to do in Cape Verde? I have just been looking on google and it looks like there is not much to do?

That would make it heaven for me!! A work colleague came back from her Maldives honeymoon last year and somebody asked her what she did...she had quite a smug smile when she said 'not a lot really'. Right now I could just handle 2 weeks of chilling on beaches like those....my OH isn't a beach person so relaxing isn't an option...am wondering if I should find another buddy for my honeymoon :rotfl:

:rotfl: this is like my OH. He really isnt much of a beach person and he would atleast like to do 3 "days out" in the 2 weeks we are there and i think i would aswel. I think i would end up getting bored in the end with just lying on a beach for 2 weeks lol

I aggree, I don't see the point in spending loads of money on flying to a tropical destination, then doing nothing, you could do the same thing on some gorgeous beaches in Europe much cheaper.

If you're going to a fab destination, it's good to have some plans to see the place.

Bride to be - your destination looks like paradise - hope you have fun there!

We're going to be travelling around one of the countries in Central America. Well have a couple of days of beachy lazines, but the rest will be diving, jungle trecks, jaguar reserves, caving, mayan ruins, and we're even staying in a zoo for 2 nights!

    sorry for delay in replying.
there is live entertainment at most hotels and in the town.
You are right ,there is not much to do outside of your hotel / complex , apart from some boating excursions pleasure and fishing etc.

i think there are trips to the Fogo mountain ( where you can while away an afternoon goat cheese tasting :) we didn't fancy that )

but to be fair its an undeveloped country and thats where
its real attraction really is i feel. its lovely just watching the sun set
    with your loved one ;)

i just wanted somewher to blow away these winter blues
and recharge the battery , and it certainly did that

    cheers

Thank you for replying. At least there is live entertainment at other hotels (i take it we can just go even thought were not apart of that specific hotel?) Boating excursions sounds like it could be a good day :D

    Thanks for that Richard
