Does anyone know if this change over will mean that the Halifax will show you a daily balance rather than the monthly one on-line?

Anyone with Lloyds at the minute? What do you get daily / monthly?

Thanks Heg

I have a halifax mortgage but wasn't aware of this so will be interested to know the answer. Halifax are currenly quite slow to update aren't they.

  • It would be great to see the daily rate o/s rather than last month's figure and then the total with the interest added. I don't understand why it's so outdated, if you pay the interest daily you'd think the balance would update daily!

I hadn't even thought about easier payments Lilac. I'd overpay a lot more if I could send payments on-line. It's a hassle to call up and make a tiny payment op, when it costs you £1 in phone calls. It would be great to send all the dribs and drabs on-line.

Think I'll going to pop over to the bank accounf forum, to see if anyone can help over there.

I was thinking of a keep the change type thing.. We bank with them too so being able to sweep loose change in account to mortgage would help my MF date alot i think. I wouldn't miss 3.34 but wouldn't call up to make such a payment. I only pay over £100+

  • You've got me thinking and planning Lilac. I'm in the same boat and use their on-line banking. It would be great to send over the balance of housekeeping money rather than is hanging around and getting lost in the next week. I could send my oddments from quidco and pay-pal money too. Please let our dreams come true lol! x

I do send smaller amount from barclays account to top up big OP but we could sneak in so many extra pennies if they made it easier for us!
