Whats best way to get £5000 that can be repayed in 1 month
I need to raise £5000 so that I can buy a car for £10000
I have a car at moment so can sell this for £5000 but I want to buy this other car first from a private seller so I need £5000 cash for say one month.
Any ideas how I can get this as I dont want to take out a loan for such a short period really and a private seller wont take a visa payment etc...?
Thanks
Ben.

Do you have cheques with your credit card? Thats what we used when in a similar situation - bear in mind that some credit card accounts though not all, accrue interest straight away on cheque payments.0

...and they charge you 2% as well!
Do you have a relative willing to lend you the money?
Do you have an Egg card? If so, and it has a £0 balance, you can balance transfer money from your current Visa to Egg, to put Egg in credit and then, on the Egg website, you can do a balance transfer into you current account, then you have the money.
If you don't have an Egg card, get one and then simply transfer the money into your bank account when you get the card!
Or you could get a Cahoot flexible loan, you can repay them at any time. I think the rate is 6.9%I'm married now! Yippee!0
