Advice please on amazon prime free trial

Could one of you Kindle experts help me please?

I decided to buy the Kindle from Amazon and maybe stupidly accepted a one month free trial for Amazon Prime. This gave me free next day delivery and the free trial lasts 30 days. It says this can be cancelled at anytime during the trial and can be done on line. I just have a few questions please:

(a) Is it a con?
(b) How do I cancel it on line?
(c) If I do cancel will they try and reclaim the free delivery I was given (usually £8.99 for next day)?

It states the Prime deal is usually £49 per year and gives deals on postage etc and this fee will not be taken until after the 30 days free trial. I do not want anything else so just wish to cancel after having taken advantage on the free next day delivery. It just seems too simple to have accepted trail, saved £8.99 and now just cancel.

I would appreciate any views on this offer and especially if anyone could answer my questions. Thank you in advance

No it's not a con, you just need to make sure that you cancel it before the 30 days are up, and they won't reclaim the postage you've already used on it. If I'm not much mistaken, you can actually take out a free trial once a year I think - I'm sure it says, if you haven't had a free trial in the past 12 months you are eligible for one.

Anyway, I used it last summer and got a few next day deliveries free and then cancelled it after about 26 days, no probs at all. Just had to update account details, that was all. - go to "Your Account" then "Settings" and "Prime Settings" to update.
