It just goes to show that labour really doesn't get it.
They are all fkwits. Right from the top. Ed is utterly clueless and he has surrounded himself with clueless twits.0 -
Balls. Every time you see him, I hope you all see increasingly how much of a filthy dirty fat greaseball career politician he is.
and I bet his wife takes it up the @rse.0 -
Shame that Johnson has gone, he seemed decent enough. Replacing him with Balls further alienates the Labour front line from me.
The interview with Balls I saw today reminded me of why Labour lost ground in the last General election. He said nice words about Johnson and then in the same breath started talking about himself!
"rumour"has it in westminister that johnson was having an affair and balls`s aide was about to expose it in the sunday papers.0 -

I have some sympathy for Mr Milliband. Presumably, he must have thought Labour's leading lights shine so dimly that bringing Ed Balls back was the only option. Ditto, the new post for Mrs Ed Balls.
Tragic, really, that Her Majesty's Opposition seems unable to do anything other than muster a couple notorious for their flipping of homes to such extent that whilst claiming their main residence was in Derbyshire, their kids were at school every day in, er, London.
That kind of money grabbing isn't forgotten with the passing of time, nor is what passes for Balls's economic pedigree, and his years of tribal service to Gordon Brown and enthusiastic maxing of the UK's credit card.
Is this really all that Mr Milliband's promised "New Future" for Labour can achieve? To have a Shadow Chancellor vulnerable to ridicule any time anyone congratulates him on his knowledge of school bus timetables from Derbyshire to London and back?
Still. That's one issue on which Mrs Balls will be anything but strident.;)0 -

Allegedly it was Balls's advisor that shopped Johnson to the press and so Johnson resigned before the News of the Screws et al could publish ...
Et tu Brutus ... Ed next ...0 -

Wouldn't be surprised, but will be interesting to know if it's true.
Balls wanted the job.
However, if this comes out to be true, he may well lose the job if Ed has any sense. And it will be an absolute disaster for the labour party.
If any of this is remotely true, someone stands to make a lot of money.0 -

On the news they are reporting that it is his wife having the affair and that it was with his bodyguard.

Though I have to say I thought Tory wives were much more "up for it". :cool:0
