Indulgent Chocolate Caramel Shortbread

We're always receiving lovely emails about our Chocolate Caramel Shortbread. We even had one happy customer who described it as "one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted". This indulgent gluten free layered cake has a polenta shortbread base with nibbed almonds, which we pre roast, topped with a thick layer of caramel and dark Belgian chocolate. Then we bake it slowly in our vintage oven. Time consuming but so worth it! There's something decidely pleasing when you bite into the crunchy base and chocolate topping. If you or your customers feel too guilty eating a whole one, we now have a brand new mini version (40g) available, to add to our already successful range of Mini cakes.
