Network marketing

How do you get started in this? I heard it can take a few months to recoup an initial outlay? Has anybody any *direct* experience of this?

Which Network Marketing Scheme were you thinking of joining ? Initial outlay varies depending on the opportunity.

    Hi

I have been in network marketing for about 6 years total on and off.

Most network marketing companies have two sides, retailing and the team building. To recoup your money you usually need to build a customer base whether its online, brochures through doors, party plan or another way and finding those customers does take time.
Once a customer base is built (how long that takes depends on how you are finding the customers and how much effort you put in) you either keep your retail profit or if its a long term residual income you want you will need to consider the team building team and invest some of your profit into generating leads by advertising, perhaps buying a car sign etc.

If anyone tells you you will be earning big money within your first few weeks or months i would be very cautious.

I see network marketing as being your own Business but without all the huge expense ,legislation, hassles etc that starting a conventional Business involes. Just like a conventional Business you would expect to have to put in time and effort to get it going just like network marketing. Most conventional Businesses don't expect to show a profit for a few years, in network marketing once you have found some customers you start earning and can recoup any joining fee and you may need to reinvest for sales aids etc but you should see a profit within months.

    Hope that helps.

Network marketing is a good business model and if you have a fantastic product at an affordable price during the recession and find a cheap marketing system that generates leads your onto a winner.

I looked into this field for ages and tried it out a couple of times and failed.

You need a mentor to guide you and go to public face to face meetings to enhance your knowledge.

A better an easier model is affiliate marketing and more profitable as people are already buying everyday products so its not selling and u make commissions.
